Throughout March Break, a variety of programs is being offered for all ages at The County of Prince Edward Public Library and Archives.

The fun begins on Saturday, March 14th at 2pm at the Picton Branch Library when Parent’s Choice award-winning entertainer Paul Behnke arrives. A musician and educator, Paul Behnke will perform a dynamic concert for children featuring songs that build literacy skills, as well as promote environmental awareness, and multi-culturalism. Paul has performed for libraries and schools across Canada. He can be visited online at http://www.paulbehnke.on.ca/. This special concert and all events during March Break at the library are free.

Also on Saturday, the 14th, two more special guests will arrive. Two bunnies will come to the Children’s Room in Picton and will spend the entire week with us, except for Tuesday when they will be visiting the Ann Farwell Branch Library in Milford. We’ll be holding a contest to name the rabbits, too.

To learn all about these furry friends and how to care for them, come to the Picton Branch on Thursday, the 19th at 2pm. We’ll also pick the names for them from all suggestions received over the week.

Teens will want to visit the Picton Branch on Tuesday, March 17th when we will host a Wii Games Night from 6pm to 7:30pm. In honour of St.Patrick’s Day, we will have green snacks and drinks, too.
