For instructions on requesting materials from outside of Prince Edward County, please visit the interlibrary loan page. 

To request materials from library branches within Prince Edward County:

1. You need a Prince Edward County Library card, and PIN, which you can obtain from the library.
2. Go to the "search, renew, or request materials” link.
3. Enter your library card number in the box labeled "USER ID” and your PIN in the second box.
4. Search for your item in the quick search box. (You can search by title, author or keyword).
5. When you see the item you want, click the title. It will bring you to the "item details” page.
6. On the left side of the page, click "PLACE HOLD”. You can then specify your preferred branch for pickup.

Please note: "Electronic Resource" indicates material available through our e-resources or e-books. If you need assistance accessing any of these items, please inquire.
